Looking Glass Mountain
I just took my first trip to Western Nc. A friend and I did an overnight backpacking trip up Looking Glass Mountain over the weekend and did a little shooting. Not the best days for the camera but I will definitely be back. This was a shot from the dome on Looking Glass, apparently this ice is what gave the mountain it's name. Very pretty but very slippery!

It's not a great shot but the forums been awfully quite lately.

I like the composition-I have to ask : Have you tried a b&w conversion?

The first version looks cool, if not a little treacherous.

Eric ,wow I have been to the top of that dome and man to do it icy would be be having some brass ones  I was real careful going around the edge in the summer and I would have nightmares over those slippery conditions :) I know exactly where you went down to that last shot .
Nice shots
