This is my first post here...I've held up on this one for a while and wanted to hear your thoughts about it. Took it on second beach last october. Weather was dreary (what a shock!!) but the thick fog somewhat compensated for it...Comments are most appreciated.
Thanks.

Very nice first post from one of my favorite places. Your choice of composition is well thought out, the water action in the FG is interesting and the fog adds to the mood. The only thing I would like to see done a little differently is to get some more separation between the midground rock and the sea stack behind it.

Younes,
First, welcome to posting in PNWNP.
Second, congrats on the Editor's Choice for last week!!!! I love the photo that won, one of the better B&W I've seen.
Third, this is a nice photo from a great place. I like the flow of the water, and the centered stack is a nice touch. I always feel a little "off" when commenting on B&W as it is not my thing, but my nit would be the amount of empty space at the top. A more dramatic sky would have added an interesting dimension to an already great photo.
This is a good, moody image of a wonderful place on the coast. I'm liking your B&W treatments on your photos very much. Considering I don't "get" B&W, that's something! I especially like the water action and the fog. I agree with the comments given so far about how to help the comp.

Nothing to nit as far as I can see. The longer I look, the more I like this.

I really like the lower half of this image...the "in your face" feel of the water is great.....
the top is too bright and blown for my eye to stay put......
Thanks everyone for the input. Unfortunately, we had the blandest possible skies when we were there, so I didn't have much to work with there...definitely a place I plan to go back to the next time i am out west.
