Hey,
I just found a site offering an exotic waterfowl workshop somewhere in the western part of Phoenix. Waterfowl is my first love and I haven't had a chance to photograph any exotic species other than while in Argentina so I thought it would be a neat place to visit. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would be interested in any other good parks or sanctuaries that have a resident population of waterfowl, native or exotic, and is a good spot for photography. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Charlie, are there many resident waterfowl or just migratory? And are there any exotic species of waterfowl there? My issue is I probably wouldn't be able to make it down there until late spring. Thank you.

I think it is in the itchfield Park area?

Hi Ryan,
Actually, the best person to talk to is Richard Ditch. He spends a lot of time there. You can search for him in the Avian forum. It's about the best place I know of in the Phoenix area.

Here's a link to Richard's website: http://home.earthlink.net/~richditch/

Papago Park in Phoenix is another great place for waterfowl.

I live in Phoenix, birds are not my thing but I know all of the areas mentioned in one of the above links for this topic. You might want to e-mail me directly baffin@cox.net or call me at 480-705-8300 with any questions about Arizona.
