Gentoo at nest
Gentoo penguin (Pygoscelis papua papua) at nest with two chicks.

On my last trip I found this almost perfect gentoo nest, with a nice background, great angle for the light and two strong and healthy chicks.

December 2007, Falkland Islands.

Enrique,

Beautiful capture and wonderful nature story. I'm sure this was a wonderful scene to witness.

excellent Enrique. Channel Island right?

those chicks are really cute but what I like is how the curvature of the adults neck frames the two babies underneath.
