Chuck.... I think you might have been with me when I shot this image about a year ago... remember the ice we had last year?... I hear there nothing like this going on in 08 correct?
I always liked the color the ice became here due to the iron and other stuff in the water here at Blue Hen.
I'll post some waterfall stuff from here in Oregon soon.. seems the ice follows me!

Jack, yes we shot together that day ... I think that was the same day we found Brandywine Falls completely frozen. I was over at Brandywine on Sunday. There was an ice shell, but it wasn't complete. Since then we've had temps up near 50 with some rain, so it's probably gone. Cold again now, but very little snow.
Cool shot Jack, the various mineral seeps add some interesting color. It always amazes me how different ice formation is from year to year. A waterfall that I frequent has less ice buildup this year because it's been colder on average. Things may change again as it starts to warm up...though that's probably a ways off yet.
