Early March, I have some traing in Heber City. I am flying into SLC and have added a little time in my travels for 5 hours on arrival and departure date. Any places in the vicinity of Heber City, or from th airport to Heber City for some photography, landscape primarily?
Any ideas on places and weather would be appreciated.

I've spent time out that way and there's plenty of gorgeous scenery; the question is the road conditions. Hopefully Guy will chime in.
I've driven Hwy 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) east out of Kamas and it was beautiful. To your west you'll find American Fork Canyon which is stunning, but the roads may not be open or easily traveled without 4WD; likewise for Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon roads.
Safest bet given your limited time may be to stick around Great Salt Lake and explore the shore and nature preserves.
