So the snow storm missed Kansas City today ... I guess you southern boys are getting all the fun! The weekend is almost upon us so I'm hoping to see some awesome snow landscapes from you all!
I just got off the phone with a guy from Atlanta who is a Nat'l Geo photog. He is giving a program tonight in Atlanta on GLOBAL WARMING and wanted to come up Arkansas to shoot SNOW photos tomorrow! What a hoot. He is going to drive all night to get here before it all melts, IF we end up getting much at all. So far we only have an inch here in the mountains, with more expected tonight - and it has begun to snow pretty good now again. On another related note I just lost a snowball fight with my teenage daughter - guess my age is beginning to take a toll!

Hey Tim, send him up to Bella Vista. Looks like at least 5 in so far and maybe another inch between now and midnight. I stayed at home and worked today, all I had time to do was look out the window and watch the snow come down, so no photos. Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow and get a few photographs taken.

Wayne, I think I know where you snow is! I just got back from skiing in Colorado and this may be an epic year for snow. This is the most snow I have seen in recent memory. It is also one of the coldest years in memory. When we left our cabin near Fairplay this morning headed to Colorado Springs the temperature was an impressive minus 13 degrees, at least I thought it was until we got to Lake George. The temperature registered negative 33 degrees on our car thermometer!!!!
Sorry no pictures, no room for the gear on this trip.

Well, here is one snapshot I took from the car of whiteout conditons on Highway 285 near our house. It is kind of scary to get caught in these on a clear day!
