Just a beach sunset
You folks think this is strong enough for me to put on the website? The concept is unoriginal but the image is pretty decent I think. Thanks for your opinions.

I do if you crop part of the bottom to make the image a 4x5 ratio (just below the golden glow in the sand)

Beats the hell out of the shot I just posted. I like the straight lead in to the sea stacks and the shimmery sand looks like polished metal, if you'll excuse the industrial comparison.

This website? Your website? I don't think you should replace anything on your website with this. This has some nice elements though.

My website. And I wouldn't replace anything, just add it.

I'll echo rick's comments; the shape and dull color of the foreground sand does not cooperate with the brilliant luminance to follow.

Ok, I'll crop a little off the bottom.

I like it as is Marc. The darkness on the lower frame matches the darker upper frame and successfully pulls the viewer deep into the image. I also like the tendrils of seafoam in the LLC and a crop might destroy the flow.

Um "Just a Beach Sunset"????? Marc if I had this in my portfolio I'd be mighty proud of it!!! And I like it just as it is. Well done Marc!!

Twas me, I would add it. Whether the concept is original or not, the photo is masterfully done and the color in it is outstanding. I'm really enjoying the quantity and quality of the reflected light, and the cut diagonal of the sandbar pulling you in is very nice. I'm with Pam and Rick on the crop, enjoying the sense of depth that it allows the photo to have; if you crop I wouldn't crop too much.

the seafoam in the LLC has really nice light. there is a bubble right next to the sand in the sea foam. crop to a tad above the bubble group and you will satisfy all of us. nice stuff!

Sorry, to be totally honest this doesn't register high on the Adamus charts.... the FG isn't all that interesting and doesn't seem to compliment that stunning sky. The rocks out in the MD block the sun so there isn't that light play that is so common in many of your ocean shots. You have far better online already and I personally don't think this adds a missing shot to your portfolio.

Dude, do you ever make crappy shots...throw us a bone from time to time  .
Seriously, this another sure winner imo, though I would go with Rick's suggestion for a bottom crop.

I wouldn't touch the foreground. I like the leading lines within the sand and bubbles. And yes, I think you should add it to your website.

But not just any beach sunset. Very well executed shot Marc!
