Hi All,
Went to a local disused airfield today in the hope of catching up with a flock of Corn Bunting's that I know are there. Want an image of them drinking so sat close to a suitable looking puddle, but the Buntings stayed well out in the vast set a side. I was surprised to see 200+ Skylark. The sound of their song was continuos all the time I was there, absolute bliss. Also heard a woodpecker drumming, spring must be on the way even though today it was blowing a gale with a definate nip in the air.
All comments welcome
