I'm heading down to Johnson City this evening to the Nelson Art Center, it's new SENP member Harold Ross opening reception. Congrats to Harold!

So while I was in the area I thought I might drive up to Carvers Gap Saturday morning and check out the balds. Like Matthews earlier post I've never been there during the winter months. My plain is to be up there before daylight for a sunrise hopefully  It's supposed to be clear tomorrow.
If anybody wants to join me that'd be great! I'll be driving a blue Ford Escape with KY tags. I don't imagine there will be many vehicles up there anyway

Hello Thomas,

It was sincerely a pleasure to meet you this past Friday. I look forward in meeting the other members of the SENP Group this year as we travel around this Beautiful part of our world.

Richard, I really enjoyed following you this past fall on your canoe trip across SC. Congratulations !

If any of the other members of the SENP forum group happen to be up in the Johnson City area, please take a moment and stop by the "Nelson Fine Art Center". My show will be up the entire month of February. I will love to here your feedback. You might also see some of Jerry Greers Magnificient work. Mine pales to his talent, but it gives me inspiration to work towards.Jerry has a booth with his work and many of his wonderfull publications.

The Nelson Fine Art Center is located in downtown Johnson City on the corner of Main and Colonial Street. This is right off Interstate-26, and easy to find.

Thanks again to you both and I look forward in trading thoughts and ideas about photography through this forum.
