Wont be long now before I will be looking for scarce emeralds(I know where to look)This is a good remnder of the joys to come,as the wind blows and you freeze your bits off.

Nice image Andy, like the flower head in the bg.

Yes, a nice reminder of what we have to come instead of just bracing ourselves to get out to those feeding stations! :frown:

Well captured Andy.

Wonderful capture Andy. Those Sigma macro lenses are great for this work.
I like the colors in this one and the sharpness is amazing. Well done.

Hi Andy,

What a cracking shot - lovely detail and colours but I do think it is a little tight in the frame for my taste!

Nice.... looking forward already to the season... perhaps a shade on the tight side....

All the best ( I suppose we better start the book on the first posting of the new season  )

Super image Andy. Nice detail but above all the composition is excellent.

Very nice, make me even more impatient for spring! A little tight, and seedhead a bit distracting, but a good capture.

Very nice Andy, this and Dannys talk are making me want to get out with my 150mm again. Not shot bugs since i went to Nikon. Cracker of an image.
