It was so nice to see some snow for a change, so I got out awhile this morning and took this one of the White River. Black and white seemed like the obvious choice for most shots due to the overcast sky that held on until about 11:00. I hope to get some nice pink clouds tomorrow morning if there's any snow left.

Bill, very nice, I really like the reflections of the trees and the tree in the foreground.

Nice composition, and I love the amount of detail in this shot. I'm with Tom on the reflections of the trees.

I really like this shot Bill. Excellent detail and tones throughout but what I like most are the deep black tones edging the snowy shoreline, fantastic! Thanks for posting ... let me know what your availability is for April in Boxley.

Nice picture Bill. I love the curved patterns in the shoreline ice topped with the tree reflections.

Beautiful B&W, Bill - without the snow, though, it wouldn't be nearly as effective. The left bank of trees and their reflections could probably stand alone as a separate composition. Very nicely done!!!

Classic Winter river shot bill, I love the White river and find myself spending a lot of time on the North Fork section and always find some of the best wildlife in that area.

I like your conversion to B&W, I think it really sets off the reflection of the trees and the snow.

I like the composition on the shot. I agree the snow makes a big difference. I like how you used your foreground creating a Layered effect. Nice shot.
