The Ovation Network today is showing 6 episodes of "The Genius of Photography" which goes through the technical and artistic history of photography. The first episode is on right now (12:00-1:00 EST in the US), but all 6 are being shown later as well - Starting at 8 PM EST, US.
In addition, they are showing a few episodes of "Close Up: Photographers At Work". Good shows all, and worth recording (in case, like me, you'll be watching the Super Bowl).

I wish we received the Ovation Network in southeast Florida.
Thanks for the head's up, Dave.

This was a joint BBC effort and we have seen the whole series this side of the pond. I found it a bit of a parsons egg, good in parts. Very enjoyable to watch nevertheless

I actually watched this series (actually parts of it) about a month ago, here in Ohio.
