Hi,

From this morning, I really hope this unsettled weather moves away soon, I know the enthusiasts are keeping fingers crossed that it will bring in rarities.... but I do not like high windy conditions.

I was quite happy to come across a small flock of Teal this morning, with the wind the light was changing constantly, as is normal all the better shots presented themselves when the light was at its worst, but a good couple of hours spent with a favourite duck species of which I have precious little on file.

Not perfect I know, would have liked to have been able to get a lower viewpoint and it is a touch central, but hey its full frame

All the best

Phil

Good to get a FF image of this small and shy bird-well shy in europe anyway, Nice one to have on file

One species that really suffers with compression! :frown:

Having said that, I'm sure the full file is superb. Nice one Phil.

Like the great feather detail and the water running off the beak

Nice photo, Phil, I like the water cascading of the head and beak.

I'm going to have to get you to take me on one of your Duck sessions Phil, not a subject that I have done much with. Lovely shot btw
