Since we are in the middle of winter around here we thought it might be nice to see some shots representative of 'warmth'. Lets see what you come up with.

Hmmm. How about some warm Antelope Canyon light beams? Makes me want to curl up like a kitten under them right now after seeing all the snow come down in Colorado lately.

A beauty Joshua! When its cold here I always think of the warmth of the Utah desert, something like a hazy, warm afternoon at Dead Horse Point.

Of course there's always fire to keep you warm....

This day at North Coyote Buttes was 109 degrees of "warmth"

Hey, Scott, it looks as if those "red hot" rocks are melting !

Wow Joshua...that's a great capture of Antelope's beams. Warms me right up! Here's my entry....the sun dropping down into the Gulf of Mexico at Fort Meyers, FLA. After two more feet of snow in the last couple of days here in Bayfield (and over three feet in the last week), I'd kill to witness this first hand right now!!

Here's one from Capitol Reef on a very warm spring afternoon.

What a great show of warmth so far :toast:

I took this one at sunrise at Pawnee Nat'l Grasslands. One of the first sunrises I hauled my butt out of bed for.

Hawaii a couple years ago. That was a very warm trip.

I had to dig a little for this one. Monument Valley on a very warm August evening with some awesome light. Taken before I went digital so it was scanned from a negative.

Wow some great images posted here, especially nice on a day like today when out the window all I see is snow!.
This is an image from Sunrise in the Applachians, Fall of 2006. Though it wasn't the warmest of mornings, the Sun and the Autumn colours to me give the feeling of warmth and comfort.

One of my first images that I thought was "cool" from my beginnings in photography in 2002. Shot from the end of my street on the shores of lake Erie. I saw the boat coming and had to time it just right since I had only one chance.

Great shot Amy, I like how you composed the image with a lot of sky.

Warm = San Diego (almost any time of the year)
Last October I had the pleasure of taking my Dad to my company's annual business meeting (boondogle), that year in San Diego. I spent most of my Navy career in San Diego - I love it.
This is from a great afternoon of sailing on my best friends boat. My Dad is at the tiller on the left, Curt, my Friend, is on the right.

Gotta love a warm afternoon sailing on San Diego Bay!

Warm glow of sunset.

Sunset cliffs, San Diego, Ca. Oct, 2007

AWESOME shots by everyone, btw (as usual)!

One of the first few shots taken when I got my 5D last June. A wildfire enhanced sunset from our balcony towards the front range. This ain't warmth, it's sizzliing!

A hybrid tulip blooming at my old house. This is one of the things I truly miss at my new home. Tulips would last about 10 seconds with the deer we have now.

A forest garden in an area I'll be visiting for many years to come.
