We received around 9 inches of snow over the weekend but had no time to go out and shoot but I did have time to sneak over to Shaws Nature Preserve which backs to my house so since its close I found some time to capture the nice light and the snow before it all melted away.

Mark, fantastic shot! I really like the contrast between the snow and the sky.

Nice evening light Mark. I have to agree with Tom, the contrast between the snow and sky and the arrangement of the trees in nicely composed. Nicely done, thanks for sharing!

Mark, I love the light in this shot, very nice! I also like all the elements except the overhanging limbs. For me, they create chaos in an otherwise crisp, clean scene and interfere with some beautiful looking clouds. But hey, that's just me. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, Mark. Great light and I love how the branches frame and lead the eye into the grove of trees underneath. Beautiful!
