great shot Paul, I like the square format but think the subject is a bit too central, is there any more of the mage to the right so yo can move the bird to the left a little ?

Sadly they where jumping and flying through the frame at my minimum focus distance, this is full vertical of the frame, but cropped to a square against the right.

Love the stance and well done on capturing the bird as it is, but square format also doesnt work for me. :toast:

I've never really understood the need to have oblong frames - I didn't even notice this was square! Lovely action shot of a bird I've never seen - I need to get out and about more!

I love it, square doesnt bother me but I would have like more to the right of the bird.
