This is the same Kestrel as in Robams shot sitting on the lorry container, she flew down and started picking worms.Lucky for us she was'nt bothered by the car and 2 dirty great lenses pointing at her.

I personally like this and realise some will probably find the bg too messy but each to their own

Hi Stu,

You were quicker on the shutter than me, I have the worm half gone! Although I was chauffeur and had to "park up" before pointing my lens!
Very nice, I like the raised foot and the position of the worm. Well processed to, showing lovely detail in her plumage. The BG does not bother me  . Nice behavourial shot.

Regards

Hi I prefer this one to the previous one I don't mind the busy background.

Good "au natural" shot of the Kestral in its environment. I've not seen them eat worms, its usually buzzards i see worming.

Vey nice behavioural image - great detail. Would a slight crop off the top be worth doing though?

Great bit of action - the busy BG doesn't bother me, it is all part of the environment

Hi Stu,

I love this shot! It shows it in the environment nicely. The way you caught it while eating the worm is great. Nice one!

The birds behaviour makes this shot, for me the background is not an issue.

BG is fine and a great capture. Would maybe shave a bit off the top too, but it's subjective. Love it :toast:
