Can any one recommend an AFFORDABLE but reputable repairer (not sure that's the right word) for canon equipment? My 300's taken a bad knock and i'm not sure how healthy that's left it.

Hi Jack,

I think I am right in saying that lenses go to Canon at Borehamwood for repair?? Colchester repair centre are very good, give them a call, not sure where you are based as for a closer one.

Fixation would be my first choice followed by H.Lehmann.

I have had 2 dealings with Lehmanns, they are superb, i cant recommend them highly enough. I send my equipment there from Spain.

Jack,

As you are London based the first port of call would be Fixation... reputable and good.

I always take my gear direct to the either the Canon service centre at Elstree or Fixation - www.fixationuk.com

I use Lehmans who have been very good. As for price....well it's going to be expensive wherever you go!

Sorry Jack as Elliot mentioned it's in Elstree not Borehamwood, I knew it was in that neck of the woods!!
