Not sure if I like it or not... I was wondering what you all think?
Thanks for any ideas.

I like this one Edward. The hint of the background trees above the falls emerging through the mist makes this composition work. I also like a pano cropped to just above the prominent fir on the left. Nice capture.

Thanks Hans!
Hey, GREAT gallery at zenfolio. And the Rover AW II is the best bag I've used!

I am really liking this...not sure what all you did to it....if anything, but it sure looks and feels like winter......well done!

I'm trying to figure out if that darker fog is all real or if you added some darkness to it - seems burned around the middle trees more than natural. Really interesting conditions you found out there.

I like it. It looks like a greeting card. I agree with John that the fog seems a tad dark, but it's a night shot so I also expect exposure to be a little weird.
print it, and sell it to the gift shop. I was in there a few weeks ago and most of the stuff they have in there is... well... let's just say I wouldn't pay a plug nickel for it.

The trees look great covered in the snow and everything pops out against that foggy background. I like the treeline behind the fog. Great choice of time to shoot it. The lights really add to the scene.

I'm really like'n this one Edward. The trees with fog blending in with the background looks real cool. I would show this to the folks at the lodge and see if they would like to buy a nice big framed print.

Edward,
This is one of the better images of the Multnomah Falls lodge I have seen, great atmosphere and feel. The only critique I would make is that it would be nice to see just a little more of the falls peeking out through the fog.
Great shot, Edward. Having just said that I am sick of gray in another thread about Spring and shooting tulips, I take it all back! This is so wintry looking and chilly and moody, but the lights and the lodge look so inviting. It's a winner. Great ad for the lodge, too, I dare say!
I like it a lot. The mood of the mist, light and color balance is great. Nice one.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it!

Great image, Edward - one of the best I've ever seen of the lodge! Almost surreal, and a great composition.

This is a beauty, Edward. I can't imagine more magical conditions than what you've captured here, and your comp makes the most of it, too. Really nice work.
