Hi everyone
Not the most exciting of subjects, but a shot I'm pleased with. I've printed this at A3+ (I just bought an Epson R2400) and the level of detail is something that you just don't get on screen, or even at A4.
That observation leads to a question - are there some subjects (e.g. landscapes) that really lose impact at 720px on screen, whereas some benefit (beyond the trivial of being able to see flaws more easily when an image is larger)? I'd guess that macro shots may not gain as much as images where detail is everything? Do the more experienced posters choose to show images that look good on screen, as opposed to ones they're more pleased with, but look better as a print?
Just curious; C & C very welcome on duck...

Hello Mark.
Nice capture and I know what you mean about detail. I have put some landscapes on at 720 dpi and they just dont have the impact they should have. As for closeups they look fine.
I will still post some landscapes even though they may not go down to well, as it breakes up the subject matter abit.
