I took this on the day I had been to see the Bearded Tits, and I moved on to a hide at near by reserve to have my lunch. I had only been in the hide for a few minutes when this chap came from no where to investigate the birds at the feeders no doubt, the light that day was excellent, and makes such a difference??

Beautiful colours and light. Sorry to mention it, but it was a shame you clipped off his feet. It really is a stunning looking fox though :toast: :toast:

I remember that image! Very nice indeed.

Could do with him chasing off a few of the squirrels!

Hi Stewart,

Lovely capture and great lighting. This is a subject we don't have on the Island.

Well as always thanks for the very kind comments, the more I do this the more I realize the large element of luck involved, but you still have to be in the the right place etc...as Brian Phipps says this place is over run with the Grey Tree rats, so may be this chap will help us out a bit??

Great pose with the eyes staring you out. I'm seeing a bluish cast on some of his fur and the foreground twigs. Is this related to the lighting conditions?

I'm also seeing a very slight bluish cast but the detail, eyes and colours on the rest of the coat are all superb. Like it.

Super shot. I suspect that leaving in the virtual feet would give rather too much of that Oof stuff. Probably the right crop in the circumstances.
