I love the juxtaposition of the colours. My only nit is the spiders web thread slightly takes your eye away from the damselfly.

I love the contrast of the blue, pink and green. Very clear and sharp--even the little hairs on the damselfly. If this shot were mine, I might consider getting rid of the small spider web. Overall excellent shot.

Hi Guy,

Cracking capture! Pin sharp too! I love the colours in this. To be honest the web doesn't bother me at all.

I know nothing about little things like this or macro photography, but this image just jumps off the screen at you. Superb!

Grand shot Guy :toast:

I think the web adds to the image to be honest and the BG is nice and smooth - well it would be with the best macro lens on the planet :wavey:

Beautiful - I have no problem with the web!

Beautiful colours. Comp great. I've just bought one of these lenses and I can see that I will have no excuse for any sub-standard images from that direction. Bring on the summer!

Brilliant - great colours and perfect comp. I suppose in terms of pure aesthetics the spiders web could be cloned out - but it was there and I don't think that it really detracts at all.

Hi Guy,

Very very nice. Could maybe push the saturation a bit more.
