Trees in Fog
EOS 33V, Sigma 24mm, Velvia, converted & contrast adjusted.

Another image from Barnack Hills and Holes.

I am undecided on this one, can't decide if it's a keeper, and have tried lots of different crops to see if I can bring out its potential, if any. So any comments welcome.

Hi Greg,

I think this is a very well spotted and composed shot. The B/W conversion is very good and suits the subject so well, the fog and b/w giving it an eerie feel. Def a keeper from me. Would look good printed big.

Regards

I'd agree with Rob, Greg,

only I'd try flipping it horizontally

Give it a try and see what you think.

I like it Greg, I do feel however, that the tree leaning out of the image area feels a tad uncomfortable...

Thanks for your comments. Ian, Phil, I see what you mean. Flipping it so the tree is leaning left to right is more comfortable.
