Buffalo River Trip
Sorry about not posting anything earlier. My membership lapsed and then I had problems logging on, partly my fault there. I want to say thanks to Bill Dark and the crew at Richland Creek this fall for the great time. The food was good and I enjoyed meeting everyone.
This picture was taken earlier in the day while I was driving back to the campsite. It is the waterfalls on the road to the campgrounds. I did remove a rope (with Photo Shop) that was hanging for people to swing by.

Taken with a D200, nikon 24-85mm lens, SB800 Flash, 100 ISO, F/8, .3333 second. On a tripod of course.

Hi David, welcome to CSNP! A very nice shot with some wonderful elements. A little boost to the contrast would really make this shot pop!

I wish I could have made it down last fall to join you all but it wasn't in the cards. However, we're trying to get the Spring gathering finalized for late April so if you're available check out the thread at the top of the forum.

Thanks for posting, looking forward to seeing more! :wavey:

Nice to hear from you, David, looks like you came away with some nice work. You've shown some good detail under the falls and I like the composition. Hope to see you in the Spring...

Wayne, I will try working a little to give it some punch. Sometimes trying not to oversaturate I mute things a little.
Thanks for the comments Bill. I through a little flash under the ledge. It was on camera. If I had my pocket wizzards with me I could have done something a little different, but it would have ment getting wet. If I remember it was a little cool that night. Staying dry was a better option. I did notice the difference between the ones with and without flash.
Again sorry for not getting back earlier. Had a good time. Thanks.

Welcome David. Nice work here, I agree with Wayne about punching this one up a bit, I have a hard time not oversaturating an image so I know where your coming from. Thanks for sharing!
