I have had a photographer over here from the UK for the last week so have been busy in the mountains,at the lake and all over,Shooting everything from captive wolves, bears and bison in the snow to chamois and a variety of winter birds on Lake Geneva, A couple of days ago whilst shooting Red Crested Pochard in a small harbour i looked down and there was a couple of Wood Ducks-a new one for me and nice to get something new on file-a small very colourful bird and it certainly brightened up the day

Hi Bazza
I shot about 2000 images this week along side a blue dot MK3-Images and success rate were similar-Whilst i love using the camera the results are hit and miss when checking for critical sharpness , I have been looking at the Nikon range for a few weeks now and feel that with the range they have now with bodies and lenses i feel that i may move that way in the near future

Very nice image; your control of the whites and the deep iridescent colours is excellent. They really are spectacular ducks.
