Couldn't resist going though a few archieve images.
This was taken when I first got involved in photography with an old Nikon D1 & an attached Sigma 50-500mm, A bit of a point & shoot shot.
D1 - Sigma 50-500mm @ 195mm
ISO 200, F10, 1/250th sec
Apeture Priorty
Handheld as I didn't own a tripod back then.
Thanks for looking, hope to be back soon.
Just popped back in to add the (c) in title for captive bred, sorry folks I forgot

Well. it's definitely an owl Vincent, and it's obvious that it's just been in that barn - so WHY THE HECK NOT
There's some, shall we say, 'definite purpose' in those eyes
Weren't things simpler in those days - just goes to show, it's buying a tripod that starts the complications

Hi Vincent,
Can see what Andy means here about those eyes - he certainly looks like he's got a purpose!

Hello Vincent.
Nice capture and nice timing, having the window in the picture adds to this one.

Hope all is going well?

Those are a pair of scary eyes. Well done. The window looks great in this shot. Nice and sharp on the head. Love it
