Hi,
Met up with Tony this am to shoot the Snow and Lapland Buntings that are staying around (unusually) on the east Kent coast, still not totally happy and not sure when I can get down that way again.. (next weekend looks like returning to wet and windy), but this is one of the better shots from this morning.
Cheers Tony for walking along the beach to flush them back, as ever good company... (he also told me I had to post one)

Heard all about your escapes Phil! Laying in wait as Tony drove past of all things!!
Mind you, looks like you had a better morning than I did, so Tony didn't miss owt!
Good clean image-great background with all the colours complimenting themselves nicely-The wing has a green tinge-is that natural-Maybe a slight crop to the left but nice as is

Very nice, i love these birds, their so accomodating! One thing, where has the green come from? I dont think they have any green in their plumage?

Great to see you today Phil,
Glad you enjoyed your Bunting morning.
Have to agree about the green wing bars, something there, none of my shots show those markings? super shot though.

Nuff said... impossible to better this for a snow bunting profile. Really beautiful colours and light. You must be very happy with this.
