Cormorant
Not much time to play outdoors but this afternoon the weather was fine and I went out for just two hours. This is my only shot from today but I quite like it.
iso 400 1/1000 sec. F6.3 Sigma 120-300 with 1.4

Shows I should check the forum before mailing you :frown:

Wonderful shot :toast: :toast:

Glorious in every respect - BAR ONE

I just love all that empty space on the right that's not there..lolol

Only nit would be the upper wing tip is perhaps slightly tight to the frame.

CH and AF lock-on set to short?

Apart from the 'great unmentionable' a class image Edwin - nice one :wavey:

GOOD GOD NO! A square crop! ;) I like it, nice feeling of the Cormorant gliding.

Never seen one shot from this angle, great shot Edwin. Looks perfectly exposed to me and that's not always easy with these birds. Square crop might not suit a picture editor, but I like it.

Hi Edwin,

Cracking capture! A little tight in the frame for my taste.
