Help: Canon repair centre contacts.

I have a faulty Canon 580ex II flash gun and can't access the Canon Europe listing of repair centre contact numbers or email.

Does anyone here know who to contact and what the numbers are?

Hi Rob

The 580EX II is not an old model so I can't imagine you have had it very long. If there is a fault with it, then it is the legal responsibility of your dealer to sort any problems out whilst it is under warranty.

I personally wouldn't accept a repair but a replacement. Once you accept an item being repaired, you cannot later demand a replacement if something else goes wrong

Obviously all of this depends on circumstances but whatever - good luck

I took a chance on this and bought it through ebay. I bought it mid December. I don't normally do this but the price was a lot cheaper than other online shops or local highstreet. I guess I'm paying the price now.

Just bad luck I imagine (hope). That's always the problem with distance buying of any sort.... hwta do you do when/if it goes wrong
