Not a bird that normally sits and poses, i usually find i have about 2 seconds to get this sort of shot. Light was poor but this is my best image so far.

2 seconds Crikey, are they all on Vallium or something down your way Graham - up here you've got less than 2 milliseconds
Great to have one this close
Very sharp, but perhaps a tiny bit too much contrast, on my monitor at least.

Hi Andy, I've had monitor problems for the past few months but the new one should be here this week. What looks right on mine often looks wrong on others. Graham

Nice shot in difficult light. It looks a bit blue to me and may benefit from upping the colour temperature? Eric

Hello Graham.
Firstly well done I've never even come close to getting one. It does have a bit to much contrast but thats on my monitor. Nice and sharp though.

Sorry to say it does not cut it with me Graham. The colours and contrast are all wrong. The composition looks to have potential. Please repost when the monitor is sorted.

Hi Graham,
Lovely capture! But have to agree about the contrast.
