WWT Arundel Image
Red-crested Pochard

40D, 400/2.8 + 1.4, Low Pod + 393.
ISO400, 1/1250 @ f9, EV - 2/3.
C1 v4, resize & sharpen CS3, Full Frame.

Hi,

Like Paul I can't make my mind up between several images from Arundel today, chose this one as I liked the expression, overgunned and didn't have chance to drop the extender...

Great to meet Tony and Paul down there...

Nice, i like the look too. I know what you mean by over gunned, i had that a few times yesterday. Nice and clean and sharp detail.

On another note i notice you are using C1 4, did you notice it has an issue cliping highlights?

I love this one. Great detail in every feather. A bit tight but other than that just perfect.

Must have just come straight from the hairdressers this, very tidy.

Barnet comments aside Phil - it's a phenomenally detailed image - could look at it for ages and not get bored - nice one :toast: :toast:

Great and very nice detailed picture! The frame is a bit to tight imo.

Phil

A great pin sharp picture. I'll need to come over the border one day.

Another beauty, Phil. What is it with big hair all of a sudden? Love the detail but I think that somehow it is neither close enough or far enough away for me. A portrait crop of the head and neck might be nice.
Quality picture anyway.
