I'm thinking of getting this tripod and head setup. It's a little more expensive than the 725B that I was going to get but I think the head and the swiveling center column with prove useful in the field.
Does anyone have this head? I played with one in my local photo shop and liked it but I'm just curious about any real world experience. It seems like it would be very quick to get the camera on what you'd want to photograph and get the shot, like if birds were flying about and perching or insects were jumping around some flowers or something to that nature.
Thoughts??

I bought that head, and could never get used to using it. It just seemed that I didn't have enough hands to operate it and the camera. Finally sold it and bought a traditional ball-head. YRMV!!

Kyle I've got that head. I've used it a little over a year.... took a little while to get use to it but I love it now!
