Corn Buntings feeding
Canon EOS 1D MKII, 600mm non IS, 1.4x converter, f8, 1/500, ISO 500, RAW, RSE, CS2, bean bag on car window.

Hi All,

Managed to get a couple of these liitle buggers feeding, amazing how hard they are to see, they really blend in with their surroundings, and normally when you do find them they let you get close, point your lens at them and when your just about to start shooting the fly off

All comments welcome

Regards

Rob

PS. Stu I have a long weekend coming up so if you fancy coming over let me know, should have a couple of days free.

Novel comp Rob - I quite like it :toast:

Looks like you were shooting downhill so couldn't get a lower PoV - with these you take what you can get

Only nit would be the in-focus bird looks a tad overly sharp.

Hi Rob,

Where's the bird? Kidding aside  I like this, however I'd probably would have tried a different to get both subjects in focus for more impact!  Just my thought

Nice record shot Rob. A bit lost in the background, but I guess that' only goes to show why they are that colour in the first place.
