A double difficulty I've encountered flight shots/white subjects if you don't try you don't learn I guess. So comments and critique most welcome.
Canon 350D sigma 500mm ISO 400 f8 1/2500 sec 500mm hand held used auto focus. RAW to lightroom PS2 to resize
I have now invested in a PC with a high res screen I now see a far better detailed image but as yet I've not calobrated the screen I'm lost in the jargon.
Thanks
Barry

You've done well to retain some detail in the highlights, although you've lost a little of the vibrancy in the process.
(couple of dust bunnies lower right! )
Well caught.

Agree with Ian.
All the detail is there and you should be able to give the shot more "pop" with processing, if the wing leading edges burn out you can use the history brush to restore the detail
A shot well worth the time to process.
