As most of you probably already know, we got a good dumping of rain overnight in the Ozarks and the waterfalls are up and running well. If we would get a little rain shower once or twice a week waterfalls would stay this way - now is the best time for them so I hope we keep getting some of the wet stuff. This is a shot from my neighborhood this morning.

Hey Tim, I thought you were stuck in the house doing prints? It looks like you couldn't resist the chance to bag a few waterfalls!!!!

Geez, what took you so long? I've been hoping you would post something...I'm a little surprised the water is this clear so soon after all the rain we had.

Yup, Dug Hollow - it is the closest to me and I only had a few minutes, although it took me a couple of hours, but don't tell the boss.
Yup, I am stuck here at the computer, but I realized that today might be my last chance to get out and smell some of that fresh air for a month so I disappeared for a while. Besides, the boss in down in Old Mexico so I had to play while the cat was away!
It did clear up quickly, although the Buffalo was still muddy this morning, once I was able to see it. Dug was not totally clear but it was not muddy either. One reason why that big falls across the way was just a river of mud was that it was draining all of that pasture land up on the ridge - nearly all of Dug's drainage above the falls is forested so much less sediment gets washed in.
Today was one of those days where you could point your boots in any direction and run across a great waterfall scene...
