This is of the river Severn in Shropshire with Breidden Hill and Rodney's Pillar in the background.
I haven't posted for a while, but have been busy trying to improve my landscape images. This I think is my best effort yet so thought I would post it to see what others think. I am determined to improve my landscape photography and want to learn so please feel free to comment as you see it.

Hi David,
There is a lot of empty space with little or nothing of interest. Perhaps a pano crop, taking out a lot of the plain sky. Or, zooming in to concentrate the interest in the bottom left corner. If you did that, I grant you would loose the edge of the riverbank right, but compensate by swinging slightly more to the left to put the largest tree on the thirds.

Hope you don't mind, but I've played a little to try and show what I mean. Just a crop and a slight touch in levels.
Thanks Ian this is just the kind of help I'm looking for.
Your repost is a great improvement. I'll try to go back on the next frosty/sunny morning we get to try out your suggestions for improving the composition.
