Two Windows
Traveling through Glenddale last weekend with Rick. Nothing much struck me until I saw these colors and textures. I have another that I'll post when I get back from a 4 day guided (sleeping yurt, eating yurt and sauna yurt) backcountry ski trip in the Wallowas (can you say four days of untracked powder?) on Tuesday (gloat, gloat).

Oh yeah, the details...

D2x,
28-70mm lens @ 35mm, (damn good lens)
f/8 @ 1/100 sec (damn good f-stop)
Blingpod (sweet tripod and ballhead)

You kids be nice while I'm gone.

I like it. Classic Hudon. I bet the details in the print are sweet. Photos like this remind me of some of the old building I saw on farms where I grew up.

You should have enough material to publish your "Windows of Hood River County" book by now! Sure like the contrast of shingles on one side to practically none on the other...

Four days in the Wallowas? I've heard great things about that area.

Image looks good, Mark. Reminds me of a fixer-upper I once had.

I would gloat too Mark... a trip like that should be a blast. Enjoy!

Nice image of some simple bordered up windows. I would clone out the two lone sticks poking in from the bottom.

I agree with Ned, the contrast of the two sides really adds to the photo.

We'll look forward to photos from your trip!

The pic is really nice, but the trip is what I'm envious of. Enjoy. Sounds like paradise to me.

Classic Hudon! I love it. This is really a good one.

Have a great time, you meany! while everyone else slaves away at their posts.
