Hiya,

Seems like I haven't posted for ages. Been out for the first time since November and spent a week photographing hares and owls. This is straight from camera, apart from resize and sharpening for web. It needs a little tweaking and few distractions removing from the background. However, I just love the way the light penetrates through the hare's eye.

Canon EOS 1DSmkII, EF 600mm f/4 IS L, Beanbag, AV, ISO 200, 1/400sec at f/5.6 (-2/3EV)

Looks inquisitive... cleaned up and it will be a great image, but very nice as is.

Very 'wickerman' no wonder hares are so ingrained in folklaw. Great image.

Hi Elliott,

Great image, what I'd do to be this close to a Hare!

Hi Elliott,

Nice capture! Looks a tad dark for me! but is captivating nonetheless!
