Hi Guys,
Had a business appointment in Amsterdam today and decided to make a detour and visit nature reserve the Oostvaarders Plassen to see if i could get some nice shots of birds despite of the grey weather.
Had a blast with this lovely Great White Heron who was fouraging in front of the hide!
Greetings,

Bit tight at the top.But i can see why you have done that, to match the reflection.
Great shot, with great timing with the fish

Hi Guys,
As i was shooting with a 600mm and the Heron was really close, this was all i could do to get the action and the reflection included. Ofcourse i could add some canvas around the image to get some more room all around.

The fish was dead meat.....

Your hides must be a lot lower than many we have over here...
Not that sure about that... Our hides are often much too high also...
Thanks for your comments!

Just wish I could do it.
