I'm so tired of the snow & cold. And, the primaries are here now, too.
So, I entertained myself by pulling out some macro equipment and photographing, photographing, photographing.
I'm posting the pistol and stamen from a maroon lily that is a part of a flower arrangement that I gave to my wife... ;)

That's almost obscene, Tim. We may have to put a rating system on the forum.

I think I have a few of Calla Lilies that might be considered obscene, but because Chuck is putting a rating system in the forum, guess I better not post them.
By the way, Tim....nice details in these images.

You know that after a stretch of cabin fervor you are likely going to have little lilies running all over the place.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Georgia O'Keefe. It may scandalize the good folk of Lake Wobegon, but bring on the Callas! We gotta get through to Spring somehow ...

Thank you everyone for the kind comments, as well as the fun ones!
I felt that the photo of the pistil (which, I just realized the I spelled incorrectly - and I was a bio major!) came out fine, but the anther was a bit soft. It's tough focussing with such a narrow DOF!
And, Philip, my anther has been neutered, so there won't be any more little lilies running around here, at least not by my doing... ;) I know, I know, TMI! ;)
