With apologies to CJ and Robert who aren't getting very much snow, I debated posting this image but decided to go ahead anyway. You guys really should come up to MI soon...you would get your fill of snow images and then some.
PJ Hoffmaster SP last week, after a fresh snowfall of 8.5 inches. I liked the way the picnic tables were placed almost in a circle, within a circle of trees.

Nice... I love how the image seems to draw together as my eyes go up. The picnic tables stand out enough to draw my eyes right away.. You all have been getting blasted compared to me.. This river valley has been very protective this year.. Thanks for the view, Toni..

Nice shot. Bring on the snow. I’m still not tired of winter. It is -7 again today and with fresh snow the x-country skiing and photography are great.

Nice image, Toni. I like the inclusion of the picnic tables. The way the snow gets wind blown to the side of the trees is always nice.
Post all the snow images you like since it may be the only snow I get to enjoy this year When there is snow I enjoy winter too much and don't want it to end.
I really would like to get up north sometime in the next two weeks or so. Thanks for sharing the pic
Toni, thanks for the apologies, and the nice photo! I think I'll pass on the picnic, but I would love to wander the area with a camera!

So that's what snow looks like? We did finally get a decent accumulation last week, then ice on top. Very crunchy.
NIce image, Toni. It evokes a lot of different emotions. These days, it's anticipation ...

Thanks everyone!
Chuck..yup....we've had over 80 inches of snow this winter, with about a foot or more on the ground right now. I'd gladly share some with everyone. I'm getting a little tired of kicking all the snow out of my wheel wells 4-5 times a day, but for photo ops...I love the snow.
Rob, at the moment it looks like there will still be plenty of snow within the next two weeks.
This park has become my favorite haunt in fall and winter..I don't have to drive very far and it's busiest time is in the summer.

I like the shot. I can imagine sitting there and just listening to the sounds. I love winter in the woods. Even in a park like this with snow the sounds are much different than other times of the year.

You're right, David....for the most part all I heard was the birds, and the creaking of tree branches as the wind blew.
