An image taken from something I am trying to put together (in my absence) in April. Tawny Eagles will scavenge and may be seen alongside vultures at a carcass. This one was just scanning the horizon early in the morning for any freebies.

MKIII 500f4 (plus 2x) 1/800 AV f11 ISO 5oo, trusty bean bag

Hello Steve, I would be tempted to rotate image a tad. The bird looks as if it is leaning back as if startled by something unseen to the right.

Good point Robert, guess it might have been the 500 getting too close for comfort
