i was flicking through some old images and found this one. I took this 2 years ago whil i was watching knot in flocks over the wash. I had been lucky enough to have had a short eared owl fly by so i waited to see if it would return. Instead 4 marsh harriers flew by half an hour later in hot persuit of the knot and this one nearly landed on my head.

I agree with paul, a bit more of the head would have made the shot for me.
