Hi,

From early this am, arrived at daybreak to renew my friendship with the Isle of Sheppey, it really has been a while....

This is probably the second most common bird there after the Lapwing (don't believe me... drive down Capel Fleet at 7.30 in the morning) but very difficult to get good images of as they tend to be very timid and when you find one close they will scurry away very quickly...

All the best

Phil

That's a wow shot, great comp - love the way the bird is bending into the picture.
Great one Phil.

Great shot! Love the pose.

I don't know about shy and wary though - last spring we had one that spent every night roosting on our bathroom windowsil! He was there every night without fail for about 6 weeks! Once a week a had to get up a ladder during the day when he was away to brush his droppings off the ledge - nice!

Again, super shot!
