I'm thinking maybe an epson 7880. I'm not sure I need one this big but I don't like the pizza wheels on the smaller ones. Is anyone using one of these? How long have they been out?

Tim:
The new Epsons came out this past fall but were only a minor upgrade. There will be a major upgrade probably later this year, one that most likely will include BOTH blacks and some other neat new stuff (it still costs you something like $75 to switch from matte black ink to photo black ink on this printer - both the Canon and HP versions have all the inks installed all the time and Epson is kind of behind the eight ball for not including that on this new line of printers - but that is coming soon). Of course, there will always be upgrades just around the corner. I've had their 4000, 4800, 7600, and now 3800 and have never had to eat pizza with them.
