This is a 3 vertical shot pano taken with my IR converted Digital Rebel. I shot this last Thanksgiving out east of Moab. I thought about cropping more, but I kinda like the foreground. Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

I like the foreground. The texture of the grasses/sage, etc. looks very interesting in B&W. If you decide to crop this I would go no higher than where your copyright symbol is and maybe take a small slice from the sky too.

I like it! Normally, centering the subject is iffy, but in this case it works.

A nice IR application. I'd probably prefer a more panoramic presentation, but what you've got here is just fine too. I've noticed a little haloing around the butte. Maybe from shadow/highlight recovery? Its certainly not offensive, but I thought I'd point out that its there.

Thanks guys. Thanks for pointing out the haloing, Guy. I'll make some tweaks.

I like this Paul. Only change I would make would be to crop a bit of the FG as mentioned. Interesting smooth clouds. I have a color shot of this formation gracing March in my 2008 calender.

Nice dramatic feel, Paul. I like it. The adjustments mentioned might make a small difference but you've got a nice shot here!

Ditto most of the above. A very fine image that a little cropping wouldn't hurt, but it's great as it is, too.

Paul, I really like the composition here. The image deserves all of the open space in the land and sky that you've included here. It looks more like a night shot though, with the exception of the clouds. There's not a lot here that gives any reference to it being IR, but it doesn't matter. I like the look.

I agree with Jesse, I like it the way it is and especially the IR look. I've tried in vain for the last few years to get a shot that I like in Castle Valley and boy, would I be happy with this one.
