Another Attempt at Landscape 2
Thanks for the comments and suggestions on my last post. I have been back this morning and tried a different view of the same location. Is this an improvement?

Techs:-

20D,17-40L @ 37mm,f16,1/100sec,ISO 200,hand held,ACR,CS 2,PK Sharpener, crop from top to reduce area of empty sky.

Thanks for any comments.

It looks fine over here :wavey: Keep up the good work and learn from the landscape masters over here... No, not me  Never took any landscape myself.

Hi David,

Looks very nice. Such an improvement, the next one you post will probably be a masterpiece.

Massive improvement - good stuff. I'd just finish this off by brightening it up a little so the frost looks crisp and white, and up the saturation particularly in the blues. Something like this. Also have a look at sharpening for the web which will drastically improve quality it is displayed on screen. Tristan

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments.

I am currently concentrating on photographing landscapes close to my home. I am fortunate in that I believe there is a lot of scope for me here, but seeing a potential landscape candidate and then transforming that into a good landscape photograph is a challange I enjoy and am determined to achieve. Your comments on this and my previous posts have helped me considerably. If you don't mind I hope to be posting further attempts and hopefully I will produce that masterpiece.

Thanks again

David
