A lovely shot of the Wren, well composed within the frame, however I feel the background is a bit distracting and jumbled, the bright area to the right of frame tends to grab the eye. Colour and posture of the bird are good though!

Agree with Nigel - possibly some fill would have helped but I guess you had no time with this species to get set up
I really like it Marek. I disagree slightly with Nigel in as much as I feel the background shows the true environment of these little birds and yet is diffuse enough to be separate from the subject. My only gripe (a minor one) would be the prominent light branches in the top left and bottom right which because they are in a darker area tend to stand out more. But I could certainly live with it.

Like it, a chilled out wren uncommon sight.

Hi Marek,
Cracking shot! The catch light in the eye really crabs my attention!
Lovely and sharp too!

Good capture, great colours & pose. B/G just a tad too distracting. Easy to put right

Nice one Marek,
How did you get him out there. I took a heap of photos this weekend and in every one all I ended up with was a bit of wren sticking out from behind a twig or an ivy leaf. In fact I might have enough bits to composite a full wren. The background is quite complimentary and I don't mind it at all because the bird is seperated from it quite well, but I can see the noise around the bird where your layer mask has spilled over. Eric
