Too dark? Just right? Any ideas?
What a beautiful Saturday, though! The weather was GREAT!

I agree, a bit more sky would balance better, but that mysterious swirling water and the sharp rocks with reflection and just GREAT!

Edward: The color is beautiful, and basically I like your comp. However, I would like to see more detail in the boulders. I don't think you need more sky; this comp is about the water/rocks, so emphasize them by giving 'em more detail. Also the water appears to be pulling away here - did you make additional exposures where the waves were in a different stage relative to the rocks?

I don't think it's too dark, just about right for my tastes! I really like the water here, but can see where others are looking for a bit more in either the foreground or sky. Regardless, nice shot.
